What does "earnings split" mean?
When you earn money on Compozly (through custom projects or storefront sales), the split is the percentage you keep. On Free you keep 60%. On Maestro, you keep 90%. The split exists so we can keep the platform running, matching Creators with Composers, and protecting both sides. Think of it as the cost of the pipeline, not a middleman taking a cut for no reason.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Upgrade instantly and your new split kicks in right away. Downgrade at any time and your plan stays active until the end of your billing cycle. No lock-in, no cancellation fees.
Is there a free trial for Pro or Maestro?
We don't do trials. The Free plan is yours forever. Build your profile, land projects, and upgrade when the math makes sense for your career.
How does annual billing work?
Choose annual billing and save 30% on Pro or Maestro. Use code ANNUAL30 at checkout. You're billed once a year instead of monthly, which is simpler and cheaper.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit cards via Stripe. Your payment is encrypted and secure. We never touch your card details.
Do I own my music on Compozly?
Choose your license type when selling your music tracks through our audio player (exclusive or non-exclusive). However, Creators will own the exclusive rights of all collaboration project custom music. Don't worry, you can still use that music for your reel, you just can't resell the custom music you create for a Creator.
I'm a Creator. Do I need a plan?
Nope. Posting projects and hiring composers is free for Creators. Plans are for composers who want to earn more, get better visibility, and unlock advanced tools.
What happens to my projects if I downgrade?
Active projects stay active. Your profile adjusts to your new plan's features, but all your work stays with you, and nothing gets deleted.
